How much on average cost to have a small dog?
I'm thinking of getting my first dog. I am interested in a small dog (eg Pomerania). So with food, medical bills, personal care and other costs associated …. how much roughly a month to have a dog?
Excluding the cost of actually buying the dog (and a Pom, you could run up very high), you have to think about the first vet. Do you want the dog fixed? That could be a few hundred dollars. This is a once agreement, however. You puppy will need injections every month for a puppy. Depending on the VET could run up about 30-50 per visit. Puppies go through very fast foods, so I get a big bag each moth: about $ 20. Make sure you start with good ceramic plates or metal (the puppies tend to turn plastic containers). A lot of other things, like a bed, blanket, box, leash, collar, and all that you need right away, but they are one-time offers, so I really was not on the monthly cost. With my small dog (Chiahuahua) We have one little spot in the bathroom for her bathroom (pee-pee pads: you can get at any pet store). They cost about $ 15 a month. Their costs foods around $ 20 a month. Water is free! 
And that's all month. Chuahuahuas not need much training in a salon, but Poms do so with long hair. But I'm not sure of the cost, since they have often Pun'Kin the salon.
