Lyme disease against lymphoma in dogs – How do you tell the difference?
I sent an earlier question about the symptoms of my dog, but now appears that we're down to two options, according to Veterinarian: Lyme disease or lymphoma. His laboratory results may indicate that apparently one of them …. He has swollen lymph nodes, watery eyes, and was a little Limpy (but he is 13 and a half and arthritic, so it's hard to know what that means). Is responding well to steroids and antibiotics, in terms of energy level, limpiness, etc. Can anyone shed light on any of these symptoms diseases and how to distinguish one from another? Thank you very much. Apparently, tested positive for Lyme, but it was a strong positive. As for his other laboratory tests were found high calcium levels (which had more than a year ago, when healthy) and above average white blood cell count.
A test Lyme disease. Was not his dog to the test?
