Is it okay to use flea / insect remover if my dog does not have a veterinarian?

i was thinking of using ADVANTIX or first line, (we we can not afford a vet) .. Is it really dangerous is that it is a perscription of a veterinarian?. when ever i buy for my dog i always read the descriptions and caution, ensuring that just do not want to hurt my dog. (If there are any home remedies for flea removal please tell!) Thanks! now has a Hartz flea collar … its white and very thick, it has had for more than three weeks and still have plenty of fleas. The neck is supposed to last 7 months. [Do not buy it?]

Hello, I think it is okay to use them as long as you read the precautions of the product. If your dog has a severe infestation, you should go to your veterinarian for assistance. Other reasons to see a vet: one or more marks can be seen deep into the ear canal. Redness or swelling site of the tick bite that lasts more than two or three days after transfer.
