What causes dog overpopulation issue?
Well I see people say BYBs and irresponsible breeders because of the overpopulation of dogs and I agree. But only thing you have seen anyone say is that hoarders DNT dog spay or neuter their animals also contribute to this. also greedy dog do not sterilize contribute more than the population as much as BYBs and irresponsible breeders? puppy mills, by far, add more to the growing overpopulation of dogs, with thousands of young dogs growing up in conditions unsuitable for dirty. Also contributing to the production of dogs with genetic defects and serious health problems. However, farmers backyard can add a very strong, so (ads in local newspapers here in the people who are raising their dogs to 'make money' may be surprising, sometimes). But I agree with the other person who wrote that it is the people who buy these dogs that contribute most. Without demand there would be no short supply. Yes, some are race, partly because some do not believe in sterilization, or will not pay for these operations, or just think it's * nice * for your dog to have puppies. Puppy millls, constantly keeping pedigree dogs, and there only to make a profit (hence, little or no investment in good condition medical resources or parenting practices), not a demand for puppies, it would very quickly around the store. Buying a dog from a newspaper or online ads, or a pet store, is contributing to the growing problem. If people wanted to buy from a backyard breeder or pet store is the first is made to spend a day in the back room of a shelter and assistance in the euthanasia of hundreds of dogs that are regularly put down, I suspect you would see a drop very strong at the source.
