How often: Donate to a shelter?

Well, I'm thinking of things to donate to the Humane Society. I have a dog and I want to help Humane Society with the donation of dog / cat supplies, such as tennis balls, toys, etc. I would like to volunteer at an animal shelter for can gain the experience and the shadow of a veterinarian (I want to be a veterinarian, and I need the experience), but I only have 13 and I have to be atleast 14. So any idea? So back to the main question: How often do you donate to an animal shelter?

I am so thankful to see someone so young and interested in help homeless pets, unwanted and abuse, I can not speak for every home, but I can tell you that when I volunteer, we can only accept certain foods and toys as donations. We collect and sell the others at our annual sidewalk sale. The reason is because many dogs eat toys and can cause blockages. Dogs are supposed to be monitoring the toys and how overwhelmed they are always, impossible. Accepted heavy Kongs and other toys only. Regarding food, do not accept Roy Ol 'or fathers, because the causes diarrhea in at least 50% of dogs. You can help housing, although probably too young to go do something like shadow of a veterinarian. This is because of this liability in the case were to suffer an injury. You may be allowed to enter to do the cleaning, which would be a great help and very appreciated. Also, after seeing his dedication, it may be easier for you to move up. Also, you can collect the necessary points often friends and neighbors, such as towels, detergent, bleach, toys, food, leashes, collars, etc. You can make your own fundraising as well. You can even be able to help by listing the pets available to them on Petfinder and Craigslist. I hope to call and ask them! I spend my time several times a week and financially on a monthly basis. I have a specific routine that I follow with my donations to other rescues and shelters in my area who are in need of help. (all are really really …) I want the best and thanks for being so kind.
