Dog booties and socks?
As the weather is cold in Chicago tried to get dog boots for my dog. She has small feet. (Boston Terrier / Pitbull) She hates them! She walks like a windmill. Does anyone have any suggestions for "home made" boots or socks? Only I need something that will keep your feet warm / dry enough so you can be out at least 5 minutes so that she can go to the bathroom. I checked some web pages suggested tape, but I'm not sure I like the idea of hitting the tape on the dogs feet.
Go to Sleddogcentral.com website and click on the links equipment, supplies. If you are handy with a sewing machine can duplicate what you see in the photos. The best ones have velcro velcro stretch but regular work. She not like at first. Put on your feet and let her loose in the house and get used to them. Do not leave on too long when not active, they can restrict circulation to the feet.
