Agility dog breeders in NY?
Looking for a good breeder pure (border collies are mostly what I'm looking for, but any race will that is built for agility) in NY (I am in Tomkins County, anywhere near there would be great) that may or may not have puppies currently for sale. Any additional information about what breeds adapt well would be great. I want to meet a puppy of 6 months from now. I know that it will also live with me, trust me, otherwise I would not be interested in BC! I have had many hyper dogs in the past, this is not new. Now I can train a dog that is hyperactive, until it arrives at the course. I'd like something with a bit of speed and heart, but not too big!
Do not know breeders in New York but of races: You have the right of the breed: Border control the agility competition. The shepherds in the Pyrenees are an up and coming race I think will become the border collies class smaller. Other popular agility breeds are Shelties and Australian. Remember that you are living with this dog too, so do not just buy a dog because is excellent in agility. Furthermore, especially in higher levels than those dominant races. In his regular agility trial, all races involved. And with the competition New AKC dogs that have the top all races, you can even go to nationals with the Basset Hound or Chow. I think Lisa is great advice. The best way to find breeders is to go to trial and talk to people. Who is not eager to talk about their dogs and where they came?
