Does anyone know another way to add content to the game thanks xxxx clover
If the files must be decompressed, it is necessary to put in some new folders (if not already done so) make a new "Mods" folder, and within it, a new "Packages" folder, you need to download a file resource.cfg to tell the game to look in the archives of custom content. You can get one here: http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Post_Patch_1.12/2.7/3.3 # Step_2: _Resource.cfg (scroll down and right click on the link. Save As "resource.cfg" to the Mods folder you just made, but not the Packages folder) Now, when you download your content, save the original file to the Mods folder, using 7-Zip or WinRAR or whatever program you use to extract the files to the package. They will not be shown at the beginning of the game or anything, just appear in the game .. sims3package files go in the downloads folder will appear at the start of play for installed. If you have problems with the extraction of other file types, download and run the installer under modthesims – to be tested to see if you have everything you need to install CC: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=384014 (download the file to the Mods folder, extract the files and right click on the application to run) feel free to email me if you still have problems. =)
