How do I get my cat and my new 10 MTH chow chow mix get along?
I have an orange cat that I love. He is one, playful and fun social cat and thought it would get along with my new puppy chow chow mix. I was wrong. It seems he is afraid of the dog and growl when he and the dog approaches. Did he ever on this?
Cats are temperamental beasts and creatures of habit. they do not like major changes, such as when to reorganize the house, get all cranky for a while to get used to it again. Cats love their space and freedom and with the addition of a puppy is a bit thrown a twist in their lifestyle. not try to push the theme that works for them themselves, if they are not trying to kill each other LOL Make sure your cat has a place to feel safe in the box of food and little water until their use for the new addition to the family, sometimes it's better if you keep the dog fenced in or out of an area home for the kitten has a way of escape and safety zone.
