Refugio vs. Pet Store?
Everyone keeps saying I do not buy a puppy from a pet store and had to go through a reception center but I find the selection of puppies is limited and I worry that if the adopted half bad, can strike unexpectedly to my children? I am currently trying to adopt a dog here in North Carolina that is with a foster family through a human society, and I keep getting the run around. I called three different numbers, almost every day, left messages, e-mails and no one has contacted me! This whole thing really making me a bitter taste in the mouth and has been a bad experience.
Dogs have always KC Housing and usually coccidia. But dogs pet store have the same problems. The best idea is to buy a dog breeder small, not too many. You can even see their classified ads free puppy / dog. If you have to choose between shelter / petstore, I would go with pound of the city and just get a young dog, if not a puppy.
