What is the strangest thing I've heard about heartworm disease? Or anything else dog-related health?
Today These days, at work (I work with a mobile veterinary clinic for vaccination), who was doing the paperwork before the visit. I have worked with the company for more than three years, and I heard a lot of interesting things that people think they know about canine health. But today? I was offering our test heartworm to a client, and she said there was no evidence about the dog heartworm, and that is earlier than 19:00, and that heartworms only active overnight. I'm actually going to pipe in response to Julie talk about vaccines. The idea that vaccines can be harmful is not a "conspiracy theory." First, is using the term "conspiracy theory" in the wrong context. It would be more appropriate to say "alternative way of thinking." conspiracy theory sounds like something you just believe and automatically wacko should be considered crazy and irrational. Me and my dogs are vaccinated minimally. If you ever have children, they will be too. When I say "at least" I mean that vaccination only things that are common in my area and have a good chance of being infected, and vaccinating them only ONCE. Example: my dogs are only vaccinated against rabies, parvo and distemper @ 8, 12, and 16 weeks respectively. Those are the only vaccines received during all his life. The memory cells do not need to be reminded every year or even every three years. More of vaccination is a serious issue today and dog owners should make your research when it comes to these things. People say "well, my dog has never had a bad reaction to vaccines" .. well, yes it is. Even The first set of shots begins demyelination of the nerve endings.
