Looking to buy a medium caliber rifle and large caliber rifle, Any Suggestions?

Got a semi-auto .22LR. I want a bolt action next, The highest caliber we can hunt with in Southwestern Ontario is .270, Because the biggest game around here is Deer. So I am thinking I want a caliber in .270 or less for hunting around here at home. I plan on going around Canada someday, Big game hunting So I know I am gonna want a caliber bigger then .270 for out and about.

What rifle do you reccommend for the .270 I want something that will put up with the worst weather, Reliable,Accurate,Comfortable and if not the best of the best quality. Thinking a remington 700, maybe stainless barrell, maybe synthetic too. Or what about the rem700 sps camo

For my larger Caliber I am up in the air with it, I like the Kimber Advanced Tactical in .300 wsm. Something along the lines of that

Any Help anyone. 10 points

As long as you are going to get a bigger rifle as well as a medium one I would go a little smaller with the medium one. What I would have in mind is a Savage 16FCSS in 260 Remington. It is stainless and synthetic and Savage is building some of the best rifles you can find these days short of going custom. As for the larger rifle, the Kimber you suggest would be great although if you are thinking about going after the BIG bears someday then I would go on up to the .338 Win Mag.
