Does this classify as an allergic reaction?
Hello, I have never known myself to be allergic to peanuts, other nuts, but my body before eating (even rub the peanut shells on the side of my nose cause mild irritation) and after eating, feels pain hits … It is difficult describe the kind of feeling like throwing a rake someone over my body. Is it possible that simply brushing up under my nose peanut shell is sufficient to determine an allergic response? Thanks, Av
Go see a doctor specializing in allergies and asthma to play it safe. Judging from the way it describes the symptom (s), I'd say there's a good chance that you are allergic to peanuts and nuts. Avoid these until you see a doctor. Severe allergic reactions are nothing to fool with. There is the possibility of death. PS I am not a doctor ….. my wife is a nurse in an allergy and asthma center ….. ….. I asked that deals with these types of questions 6 days a week.
