Brass Name
I am looking for the name of the material that was used on old guitar cases and brass cases in lots of colours
It is like a thin type of canvas with a gloss. Many older cases used this material
there are some “leatherette” fabrics available through upholstery supply houses. I’ve used them to recover guitar cases, and old trunks. go on line and search for upholstery suppliers in your area. If the material appears to have a gloss, it most likely had a varnished coating applied to it.
