boarding dogs
Anyone here run a boarding kennel for dogs?
Doing so can you please give me a list of what a typical day might be like?
I had a cage too small and could only go up to 4 dogs per day. Boarding dogs have indoor / outdoor spaces. Dogs were before 7:30 am to go to the bathroom, then all dogs were fed, given medicine if necessary. To be put out, while the interior of huts were swept, washed, water, food, dish washing, new bedding and suffocated. Then the dog is left outside and kennels are cleaned and powerwashed. Doors will open to dogs that had been in / out access all day. Dogs that had a packet of walking would be exercised or would have a dog training session training. The kennel area was also part of my grooming boarding area for dogs toilet and saw the activity would have the ability to see. Dogs that require power night feeds so close to his home schedule as possible. Depending on the weather outside doors would be closed by 9-10pm.
