laptop blues ..?
I have Windows XP on my laptop. I had it plugged in, (using the charger cable B / C waiting for the new battery to enter). My Any'who 'son wanted to download your CD in your MP3 player .. (which was already connected to my laptop) .. then German Shepherd chasing cat insert. My cat jumped on the couch, the dog's hind legs ripped the cable …. long history. When I logged back in I an error message when you restart the computer in "safe mode" but then get an error message on a blue screen. States to press F8 to restart the computer, but computer freezes .. If you want I can send the exact error message .. please someone can help me. Thanks for the info Sanjay. I wanted to add that my laptop is connected to a wireless router. Should I take it before running my quick restore CD?
Boot from the Windows CD that came with your computer and run a repair installation. This can be repaired if there is any problem with leaving software files and programs intact
