Beautiful Hand
My husband and I each received a beautiful pair of handmade moccasins (caribou skin), but they smell really …..
We tried them out for over a week but the smell is too strong. Any suggestions? They are new and who received them as a wedding gift of a good friend who lives in the north. That are actually very beautiful and fit perfectly. Just have a strong smell (meat smoked just one side). If the skin does not heal properly, why would this be a health hazard? Thanks for any and all responses in this regard.
Moccasins are handmade often the smell for a while. Been there. Such Once put in a bag with some baking soda or something else to absorb odors. It can take months for the odor completely.
