Barrette Hair
Is there a safe way to remove hair from my 14 months old out of his face?
All pins and hair elastics that are a danger of suffocation and am strongly against the horrible looking garter lace ribbons people put on their babies. There are hair accessories for children?
I do not think anything is technically safe, because you have to have something very small to keep their hair at that age. I've worried for that matter, because at 2, my daughter is obviously old enough to carry them out of her hair by herself. I would say use small hair elastics, I have some other small and transparent, are more difficult for children to make (but can do) and, as someone suggested, Take what you use before nap or bed. Just keep an eye on it with her when you have something in your hair. That's all you can do at this point, other than not using anything at all.
