Barking Bark
How can I get my dog to stop barking without using a bark collar?
My dog does nothing but bark and is starting to mislead the people next door. who have already called the police to shut up! I tried a bark collar, but I feel guilty when I wear it. So only need some tidbit answers that could help me. Any response would be great!
to five parts water and one part vinagar in a spray bottle. when starts to bark, squirt in the face [to avoid the eyes] and say 'Shut up! ". Not a ton angry, but a stern fact tone. This is supposed to motivate leave because they hate receiving streams and something about the vinagar is supposed to make them stop. Also, take a walk and a dog park, where you can bark all he wants. only make clear that in the house, barking is not allowed.
