Is it ok for a dog to eat cat food?
because my siamese will not stay out of the dog food,they are both in auto feeders and my dog eats mainly the cat food,so if I remove the dog food will that be ok,dog is 14 years old,siamese is 5 years old.
From my experience, no. Dogs and cats have very different digestive tracts and cat food can really mess with a dog’s stomach. Plus, the required nutrients for a dog is different from cats so your dog could become very malnourished. I’d stick with the dog food especially since it’s an older dog.
