How I can ease my arthritis dogs without Rx drugs?
I have a 9 year old Rottweiler (called Belle), who is having some problems with arthritis. She is becoming more rigid as the nights get cold, I'm doing what I can for her. Let her sleep in my bed, and the sofa when in the living room. I am also giving Bayer Asprin (I asked my vet about the proper dosage), but she still limps a little in the day. Is there anything else I can do to ease your pain arhritis without having to put in a prescription drug?
I have a 9 year old boy old pug / boxer cross who also have problems with arthritis. We glucosamine chondroitin and aspirin once a day and helps tremendously. After the first dose couple was back to play and was much happier. He has always had wet food mixed with her dry food so it was easy to hide. We just received glucosamine tubes of gel that can separate and mix the powder in a pill and half of an aspirin dissolved in water with his wet food.
