Is there any way to alleviate a dark paint color?
We chose a gray / blue, but to mix the paint and put it on the walls, the most blue gray. I would try to get the color I'm looking for … any ideas?
Wait a few days before deciding. The drying process of painting is actually a healing process. Although the painting is "dry", it may take some time to heal completely and the color changes, sometimes significantly during the first 2 -5 days depending on temperature and humidity. If you still do not like, take a sample of what you have with your color chip back to where I was mixed paint. A good will replace it if it is significantly different from that of the chip. If that coincides with the chip, or at least near, I would not expect the replacement, but it is possible to lighten a paint formula to reduce the amount of dye added to the mixture, first by adding color or white to the mixture. It is likely more help than a paint store or a locally owned hardware store to the big boxes.
