What is the most respected dog training certification out there?
I googled "dog training certification, and see a pile of dog training organizations that give coach a "certificate" to complete the program. It's all very vague though – that accredits these people / Companies to submit certifications? I have not gone to the AKC site yet – I will – but want some unbiased ideas if possible. Thank you. In … I was not talking about dogs training for competition – but thanks. Thanks to those who respond, I do not think training class global competition here – I'm talking about your average family who need help training your dog. For your needs, I recommend you participate in your local kennel club. Good clubs offer training sessions and classes. Classes are aimed at all levels of dog management. On this page you can find your local club if in the U.S. or Canada> http://www.netpets.org/dogs/dogclub.html if you contact them and explain your needs, is likely to seek help. You can also look "dog trainer" in the yellow pages. Only be sure to get references. Anyone can talk a good jargon, without producing the results they seek. If you have a specific problem, many professionals, as you can see, and you can get the answers they need to help .. But you have to be thick-skinned, as is also likely to receive poor, if not rude, advice.
