Air Travel Will end in Europe and around the world?
It was just announced in the EU observation today that the European Union has a plan to require that airlines, particularly foreign airlines, which used European airports to buy permits to cover their carbon emissions. Other nations could adopt this as well. Could this mean the end of air travel in Europe and around the world?
No. Tourism is a major part of each country. When 9 / 11 New York hit our taxes were so high, because we had no tourism. Tourism brings money to the cities, countries and traders. If this is passed to the airline tickets will rise. Is likely to mean fewer trips because the tickets are too expensive, but that does not mean the end of the air travel. If you think about it, it will be just a piece of paper that said a lot of things that the public will not understand. Just another way for airlines to pay more.
