Does anyone know any good website / places to go and take Dalmatian puppies?
I've seen almost every website that i cannot find and I think find any dalmations for sale in or around Michigan (I live in Michigan) PLEASE HELP ME!
Marci's exactly right. One problem with Dals is that they are overbroad and ill-bred. When you have a poorly bred Dalmatian is going to have temperament problems. Stay away from pet stores, newspaper ads, Internet advertisements, and offering to meet anyone half cash. Dogs are easy to breed, but it is difficult to do correctly. Before you shop for your puppy, check out this site for how to avoid puppymills: http://www.stoppuppymills.com Talk to someone in your area from the local Dalmatian club. Go to a meeting. Go and meet some dogs. Find out if this really is the breed for you. You know what they were bred for? Do you know why your height should not be over 22 "? Do you know why most of the shelters end there? Do you know what their genetic diseases and what evidence the dog farmers should have? Do not get a puppy until you know the answers to all those – and the coach you should know to go with them, too.
