Why people here telling people to adopt dogs from a pound?
I have adopted 4 dogs from the kennel, and brought me back and gave them another person, 1 of every $ 150 it costs to adopt, most are from other peoples problems, the majority of dogs are trained, not broken home, my been treated, the youngest puppies have worms and need more money for the veterinary work, I understand you want to save a dog, but more of a problem, then nothing … the question is why adopt from a shelter?
I adopted a mixed race and was told that the dog was tame and great with children. I got rid of the dog in 2 months, always go in the house and not want anyone to pet her. I had to go because she was afraid for my children who were 7 and 10 at the time. It was not me was the dog, I know about raising a dog. Shelter dogs are not for everyone if its sad there are so many, but had to think of cons in adopting a dog. You do not know their history, a I didn't want to bring a dog with problems in my family. I bought 3 dogs from breeders and I have no problem at all, I trained as a Large dogs and family members.
