Could I be allergic to chinchilla bed again?
Two hours ago I wore a fleece bed again in my chinchilla's cage. While she is more interested in playing with what we sleep on it, in the last 30 minutes or so has been sneezing more often than they normally do. Other than that I feel very alive and active as usual and although she is sneezing is still very intrigued by it. Could be allergic to the fleece? Any information would be great. Thanks! Http: / / www.pet-dog-cat-supply-store.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-25861 # longdesc (This is the bed I bought for her) I will watch and if the sneezing will not let sleeping in the bed of his cage and see if you do. I have not made the bed yet, and seems to have stopped sneezing. I'm still going to monitor her but I think may have had another causing irritation to sneeze.
I do not think it would be allergic to the fleece itself. I think it is more likely that is something that is used in the manufacture, if not washed or something to do with used soap without washing. Either way, you must have the bed out. While generally polar safe for chinchillas, the exterior of the bed is made of a different fabric that can be dangerous.
